One of the advantages of our services is that the delivery metrics are very measurable in monetary terms: year-on-year before and after duty costs are readily comparable, the elimination of previously onerous customs-related administration costs can be quantified etc. This means that our value proposition – around which our business is built – is clearly understood before we commence work and straightforwardly verifiable once the work is done.
Our billing model
Phase I: no fee, or a nominal fee to cover expenses
Phase II: a fixed fee, agreed in advance to reflect the time taken and the level of expertise and experience needed optimally to scope the potential planning
Phase III: implementation billing can be –
– a fixed fee regardless of outcome; or
– a contingent fee based on the outcome and on the value of the work we do; or
– a combined fixed and contingent fee
We have spent a lot of time understanding our value proposition, and specifically on quantifying our clients’ typical returns on investment. Over the range of the assignments we have undertaken the average ROI has been less than three months (and sometimes significantly less), which our clients routinely tell us represents excellent value for money.
For the avoidance of doubt, we always provide engagement letters before we commence work.
